Happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing my favorite bathroom renovation to date - mostly because I got to pick EVERYTHING I wanted since it was for the house we flipped! (An update - we did sell this house and are closing on Monday! Yay!) I am all about the brass these days and wanted to incorporate it into this light, airy master bath filled with grays and marble.
We did a LOT of work to get this bathroom laid out like it is. We ended up removing the existing hall bath and master bath, and combining those spaces to make a larger space which we then divided into a large master bath and closet. Here is a before of the hall bath ::
I found this vanity on Wayfair.com and I'm obsessed with it. It pulls in the brass, and I love all the drawers and open shelving.
Marble top with brass faucets = all the heart eyes.
For the shower, we did an oversized open rain shower with subway tile & marble flooring
Since the master bedroom is a smaller space, we opted for barn doors instead of regular doors. I'm so pleased with how they turned out! We vaulted the ceilings in the bedroom to make it feel more open and spacious, and painted the beam in the same color - Ben Moore Kendall Charcoal.
The best part about this bathroom? It was done on a budget. Here are the items I used ::
Now if only I could move in and have it all for myself....! I'll be sharing more rooms of our flip, plus a full recap, on the blog in the coming weeks. You can see some before & afters on instagram with the hashtag #mimosaflip.
